MonsterShackMonsterShack helps children develop healthy behaviors. With our first product, the ItchyMonsters, we are improving the treatment of atopic dermatitis in children through an innovative app that uses gamification and AR to playfully promote young patients' adherence to treatment. Children are motivated by virtual "ItchyMonsters" to apply cream regularly. This saves practice resources, as patients and their parents have to consult dermatologists less often. Thanks to milder courses, expensive treatment alternatives are required less frequently and hospital stays are reduced. ItchyMonsters also improves collaboration between parents, children and doctors thanks to an integrated diary function and the sensible use of AI in data analysis.
