DPP-FlashStarting in 2027, the European Ecodesign Regulation will gradually require all manufacturers to provide a digital product passport. This compliance requirement presents enormous organizational challenges for medium-sized companies, as data on material composition, supply chains, and recyclability are often scattered across different documents. DPP-Flash closes this gap as a specialized B2B software platform. The startup, founded by Julian Gräfen (Technology & Platform Infrastructure) and Nico Bergstreiser (Marketing & Sales), offers a lean SaaS solution that enables small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to implement digital product passports without time-consuming IT projects and without their own server infrastructure. The core of the software is based on intelligent AI data extraction: unstructured product data from PDFs, data sheets, or certificates are automatically read out and transferred directly into the specified EU standard format. If essential information is missing, the software independently requests it from the respective supplier. As soon as the documents are received, the digital product passport is generated legally compliant in a matter of seconds. Consistent automation drastically reduces the previous preparation effort for companies. This allows medium-sized businesses not only to meet legal deadlines with ease but also to use structured product data as a clear transparency and competitive advantage. DPP-Flash aims to become the leading B2B data platform for digital product passports in the DACH region and the EU by 2027.
